All backups remain in Switzerland. They are distributed across three locations in Geneva, Gland and Lucerne, using ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. The immutable copy is encrypted and protected against deletion.
How long are backups retained?
Retention is defined with you in the contract, from a few days to several months depending on your needs and obligations.
Can you restore a single file?
Yes. Granular restore (file, e-mail, folder) is part of the service, without restoring the whole machine.
Isn't Microsoft 365 already backed up?
No. Microsoft ensures platform availability, not the recovery of your deleted or encrypted data. Hence the dedicated backup.
